Our Story

Hi, I’m Dawn, the maker behind Ana Banana Co. I’ve always dreamed of owning my own business, loved a good candle, and wanted to give back to my community. Bringing those things together felt like a pretty wonderful place to start.

In February 2025, that dream became Ana Banana Co. What began with candles has grown into a collection of home fragrance and personal scents, all handmade in small batches here in Illinois. My goal is simple: create scents you love, at approachable prices, for everyday moments and thoughtful gifts.

This business has also challenged the perfectionist in me—to try something new, trust myself, and let things grow without having every detail figured out. Every purchase, kind word, and familiar face at a market has helped me along the way. I’m so glad you’re here and part of the story.
